This workshop is tailored for participants of the previous Botanical Drypoint workshop, as well as for absolute beginners who would like to get an introduction to Drypoint printmaking techniques.
We will explore the endless possibilities of Drypoint by using versatile vinyl plates.
Based on botanical sketches, using a variety of wiping techniques, collage and chine colleʻ, plates and prints will be developed in a creative way.

Your class Includes 10 Hours of class instruction and unlimited studio time for 1 week following the workshop during open studio hours.  Class fee Includes: 1 plexiglass plate (8" x 10") , 1 piece of high quality printing paper, Akua Ink, tools and shop supplies. Bring your note book, pencil, water , snacks and collect 3 plant samples for inspiration!
