Instructor: Devyn Park
Friday September 6th 5 pm – 8 pm
Saturday September 7th 1 pm – 5 pm
A dynamic two-day workshop where participants will collage printed images, drawings or illustrations to duplicate on the Riso machine. Risography has the ability to output vibrant layered colors. Participants are encouraged to bring source images they have created in other printmaking techniques, illustrations/drawings or photocopies they are excited to work with. Participants are encouraged to explore and push the boundaries of image making with Risography.
Collaging and splicing images together can result in truly unique works that go beyond the limitations of the Risography itself. Tech skills like digital file prep will be reviewed in the course. We will learn skills to operate the machines and troubleshoot mechanical quirkiness together.
$20 supply fee to be paid to HP at the first class for paper, inks and Riso masters for your project.
